If you have the drive and ability to pursue your passion, then go for it! If not, go with a job that pays what you need and that you can live with doing. Let me elaborate - if you heard of the saying, "starving artist" you understand that the passionate artist has to be ready and willing to make a lot of sacrifices to pursue his/her passion. If you are unwilling to make the sacrifice, your chances of enduring and being successful will probably be slim to none. Figure out early if your passion is worth your sacrifice, then choose.
